Kendrick Tigers (Kendrick, ID) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Garfield-Palouse Vikings (Palouse, WA), 16-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clearwater Valley for a 1A White Pine challenge on Monday, May 1. Kendrick will face a Rams squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Genesee (Genesee, ID). The Rams record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Garfield-Palouse falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Vikings host Colton (Colton, WA) to face the Wildcats in a 1B Southeast - East challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Colton won 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Pullman (Pullman, WA)
