The General Brown Lions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Watertown Cyclones to 4 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, General Brown improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Lions travel to South Jefferson (Adams, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a Section 3 Frontier A game on Monday, May 1. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 8-0. South Jefferson won 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Fulton (Fulton, NY)

In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier A game, on Wednesday, May 3. Watertown will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 12-8 league win over Indian River (Philadelphia, NY).
