Washington High School Softball - Hazen knocked off by Lake Washington

In Friday's league contest, the Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA), by a margin of 17-0.
With the triumph, Lake Washington moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Kangaroos host Juanita (Kirkland, WA) to play the Ravens in a 3A KingCo contest on Monday, May 1. The Ravens come into the contest with a record of 13-5. Juanita won 17-2 in their recent league contest against Interlake (Bellevue, WA)
In their next game, the Highlanders play the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) in a 3A KingCo contest, on Monday, May 1. Hazen will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Islanders come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Ballard (Seattle, WA).
