R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Lumberjacks now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hudson's Bay for a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Monday, May 1. R.A. Long will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Hockinson falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Mark Morris (Longview, WA) to battle the Monarchs in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mark Morris won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA)
