Connecticut High School Softball - Holy Cross falls to Woodland Regional

In Friday's league outing, the host Woodland Regional Hawks softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Holy Cross Crusaders.

Coming up next, the Hawks battle the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass outing, on Monday, May 1. Woodland Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 12-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the outing with a 9-3 record after their 7-0 league win over Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT).

The Crusaders (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT). The Falcons enter the Naugatuck Valley - Brass outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, St. Paul Catholic ran past Wilby (Waterbury, CT), 17-3, in a league outing.
