The Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Trinity Collegiate Titans to 3 in the Swampcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Laurence Manning Academy improves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Swampcats travel to Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC) to clash with the Barons in a SCISA AAA Region I game on Tuesday, May 2. The Barons come into the game with a record of 4-3. Wilson Hall won 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Hammond (Columbia, SC)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 1. Trinity Collegiate will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 15-3 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Hannah-Pamplico (Pamplico, SC).
