California High School Softball - Pleasant Valley holds off Shasta

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) and the visiting Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), witnessed Pleasant Valley's softball squad tip Shasta by a count of 4-2.

The Vikings now sport a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Red Bluff for a Eastern Athletic match on Tuesday, May 2.

With the loss, Shasta moves to 8-7 on the season. The Wolves travel to Chico (Chico, CA) to face the Panthers in a Eastern Athletic match on Tuesday, May 2. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 16-7. Chico won 14-4 in their recent non-league match against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
