California High School Softball - Riverbank nudges Ripon

Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hughson for a Trans Valley League challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Riverbank will face a Huskies squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Ripon falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Livingston (Livingston, CA) to face the Wolves in a Trans Valley League challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 6-12. Livingston lost 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA)
