In Monday's league game, the host Mifflin Punchers baseball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Beechcroft Cougars.
The Punchers (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Whetstone (Columbus, OH). The Braves go into the Columbus City - North game with a 14-4 record. In their last game, Whetstone knocked off Columbus International (Columbus, OH), 15-0, in a league game.
Next, the Cougars play the Columbus International Lions (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North game, on Wednesday, April 30. Beechcroft will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 2-11 record after their 15-0 league loss to Whetstone (Columbus, OH).
