The Gillespie Miners triumphed over the host Bunker Hill Minutemen baseball squad by a score of 16-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Miners battle the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) in a South Central outing, on Tuesday, April 29. Gillespie will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record. The Piasa Birds come into the outing with a 7-13 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL).

The Minutemen (2-14) will now prepare for their outing against North Greene (White Hall, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league outing with a 0-10 record. In their last outing, North Greene was overwhelmed by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL), 18-1, in a non-league outing.
