The Genesee Valley Jaguars baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers to 0 in the Jaguars non-league win on Monday.
The Jaguars now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Andover for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. Genesee Valley will play a Panthers team coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Avoca Central (Avoca, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Canisteo-Greenwood drops to 2-5 on the year. The Chargers travel to Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 5 Steuben County test on Wednesday, April 30. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-3.
