In Monday's league game, the host Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars baseball team scored a close 8-5 win over the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans.
The Wild Boars (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Taft School (Watertown, CT). The Big Red go into the Founders game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Taft School by Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY), 9-4, in a league game.
Next, the Pelicans play the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) in a Founders game, on Wednesday, April 30. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Beavers go into the game with a 11-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Hamden Hall Country Day (Hamden, CT).
