Maryland High School Baseball - La Plata wallops Chopticon

In Monday's non-league game, the visiting La Plata Warriors baseball team scored a nice 14-3 win over the Chopticon Braves.

The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The go into the Southern Maryland game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, St. Charles was overwhelmed by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 13-3, in a league game.

Next, the Braves play the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Wednesday, April 30. Chopticon will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Hurricanes go into the game with a 12-3 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Northern (Owings, MD).
