In Monday's league game, the host McQueen Lancers baseball team scored a close 10-5 win over the Douglas Tigers.
The Lancers (13-14) will now prepare for their game against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders go into the 5A Northern game with a 15-13 record. In their last game, Reed nudged Douglas (Minden, NV), 5-3, in a league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a 5A Northern game, on Tuesday, April 29. Douglas will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 14-13 record after their 6-4 league loss to Reno (Reno, NV).
