The Erie Red Devils baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host West Elk Patriots to 2 in the Red Devils non-league win on Monday.

The Red Devils now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Neodesha for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, April 29. Erie will clash with a Blue Streaks team coming off a 0-0 non-league Yates Center (Yates Center, KS). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, West Elk drops to 3-9 on the year. The Patriots travel to Oxford (Oxford, KS) to clash with the Wildcats in a South Central Border test on Thursday, May 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 10-5. Oxford lost 16-1 in their recent non-league test against Little River (Little River, KS)
