North Carolina High School Baseball - Erwin edges McDowell

April 28, 2025: Asheville, NC 28806

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) and the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), saw Erwin's baseball team gain a win over McDowell by a tally of 8-5.

The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets enter the The Mountain 3A/4A battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, A.C. Reynolds held off Enka (Enka, NC), 6-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Titans face the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 29. McDowell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 15-6 record after their 7-1 league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC).
