The Lutheran Cougars baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host Gateway Science Academy Gators to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.
The Cougars now hold a 4-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Lutheran will play a Wildcats team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over St. Clair (St. Clair, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-5.
With the defeat, Gateway Science Academy drops to 2-8 on the year. The Gators travel to Gateway Tech (St. Louis, MO) to play the Jaguars in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 1-6. Gateway Tech lost 14-5 in their recent non-league test against Riverview Gardens (St. Louis, MO)
