The Goochland Bulldogs triumphed over the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets baseball squad by a score of 7-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a Jefferson outing, on Tuesday, April 29. Goochland will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 4-6 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA).
The Yellow Jackets (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Cyclones enter the Battlefield outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Eastern View edged Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA), 8-4, in a non-league outing.
