Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Grove City sneaks past Hickory

April 28, 2025: Hermitage, PA 16148

In Monday's league game, the visiting Grove City Eagles baseball team scored a close 5-4 victory over the Hickory Hornets.

The Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets enter the District 10 Region 2 game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Slippery Rock was tipped by Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 7-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Hornets face the Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 game, on Thursday, May 1. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Rockets enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 8-1 league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA).
