The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Saratoga Central Catholic Saints (Saratoga Springs, NY) and the visiting Hoosic Valley Hawks (Schaghticoke, NY), saw Saratoga Central Catholic's baseball team gain a win over Hoosic Valley by a tally of 14-0.
The Saints (11-0) will now prepare for their battle against Waterford-Halfmoon (Waterford, NY). The Fordians enter the Section 2 Wasaren battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Waterford-Halfmoon was overwhelmed by Tamarac (Troy, NY), 12-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Hawks face the Stillwater Warriors (Stillwater, NY) in a Section 2 Wasaren battle, on Wednesday, April 30. Hoosic Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 12-2 league loss to Hoosick Falls (Hoosick Falls, NY).
