The Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) baseball the host Housatonic Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), 4-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nonnewaug for a Berkshire challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Shepaug Valley will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 11-1 league win over Thomaston (Thomaston, CT). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-1.
With the defeat, Housatonic moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT) to battle the Chiefs in a Berkshire outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 9-3. Nonnewaug lost 9-1 in their recent league outing against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT)
