New York High School Baseball - Schroon Lake held off by Johnsburg Central

April 28, 2025: Schroon Lake, NY 12870

Johnsburg Central Jaguars (North Creek, NY) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY), 11-9 in a league match.

With the triumph, Johnsburg Central advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY) to battle the Bombers in a Section 7 Mountain Valley match on Wednesday, May 7. The Bombers come into the match with a record of 3-1.

The Wildcats now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crown Point for a Section 7 Mountain Valley match on Wednesday, April 30. Schroon Lake will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Bolton Central (Bolton Landing, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
