The Leeton Bulldogs baseball squad (Leeton, MO), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO)
With the triumph, Sherwood moves its record to 8-13 on the season. The Marksmen travel to Appleton City (Appleton City, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 7-9.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sweet Springs for a Class 1 District 11 contest on Thursday, May 1. Leeton will confront a Greyhounds squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-12.
