Michigan High School Baseball - Merrill wallops Vestaburg

In Monday's league game, the host Merrill Vandals baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Vestaburg Wolverines.

The Vandals (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Chesaning (Chesaning, MI). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Chesaning defeated Alma (Alma, MI), 6-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Wolverines face the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Mid-State game, on Thursday, May 1. Vestaburg will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Irish enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 14-1 non-league win over East Jordan (East Jordan, MI).
