The Rainier Mountaineers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Morton/White Pass Timberwolves to 1 in the Mountaineers league win on Monday.
The Mountaineers now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they host Wahkiakum for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. Rainier will clash with a Mules team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Ocosta (Westport, WA). The Mules record now stands at 9-2.
With the defeat, Morton/White Pass drops to 0-16 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA) to clash with the Vikings in a 2B Central test on Wednesday, April 30. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 7-9. Mossyrock lost 11-4 in their recent league test against Toledo (Toledo, WA)
