Connecticut High School Baseball - St. Paul Catholic defeats Oxford

In Monday's league game, the host St. Paul Catholic Falcons baseball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Oxford Wolverines.

The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Greyhounds go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, Naugatuck nudged Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 6-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Wolverines play the Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 29. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 11-9 league win over New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT).
