The Shady Spring Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Princeton Tigers to 2 in the Tigers league win on Monday.
The Tigers now hold a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. Shady Spring will play a Red Devils team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-14.
With the defeat, Princeton drops to 2-21 on the year. The Tigers host Summers County (Hinton, WV) to play the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 8-14. Summers County won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV)
