Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Northview advances its record to 8-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Start (Toledo, OH) to face the Spartans in a test on Wednesday, April 30. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 7-9. Start lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Northview (Sylvania, OH)

WALLED LAKE (MICHIGAN) - The first match-up of Walled Lake Western vs. Northview went down to the deciding fifth set and this match-up was anticipated to go to the wire. Northview was able to take care of business in four sets to move to to 8-9 overall on the 2025 campaign.
Leading for the Cats was the passing and defense of senior libero, Johnny Krolak, who passed an impressive 2.52 with 20 of 29 passes being perfect, while also adding a team-high 23 digs and scoring 8 points on serve. Offensively, the Cats were lead by junior outside hitter, Xavier Hale with a team-high 14 kills, and junior middle blocker, Nolan Smith with 12 kills, hitting .435. Freshman opposite hitter, Cooper Smith, added 7 kills, 14 digs and a team-high 5 aces. The Cats received double-digit digs from Anthony Pedro (13) and Zack Joumaa (10); Dillon Ersig dished out 35 assists.
