In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Bishop Stang Spartans baseball team scored a close 12-7 win over the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears.

The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Bears play the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Greater New Bedford RVT will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
