Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Fluvanna County moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Flying Flucos travel to Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to meet the Black Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Black Knights come into the test with a record of 7-1. Charlottesville won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Orange County (Orange, VA)

The Mustangs now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Goochland for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Monticello will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
