Colorado High School Lacrosse - Fruita Monument bounces Eagle Valley

April 28, 2025: Fruita, CO 81521

The Fruita Monument Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Eagle Valley Devils to 3 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Junction for a 4A Mountain West challenge on Friday, May 2. Fruita Monument will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Eagle Valley falls to 0-13 on the year. The Devils travel to Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO) to clash with the Sailors in a 4A Mountain East challenge on Wednesday, April 30. The Sailors go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Steamboat Springs won 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Summit (Frisco, CO)
