North Carolina High School Soccer - Willow Spring knocks off Cleveland

April 28, 2025: Clayton, NC 27520

In Monday's league outing, the visiting Willow Spring Storm soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Cleveland Rams.

The Storm (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates go into the Greater Neuse River 4A battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Corinth Holders tipped South Garner (Garner, NC), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Rams battle the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A battle, on Wednesday, April 30. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 6-2 league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
