The Columbia River Rapids triumphed over the host Woodland Beavers softball squad by a count of 13-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rapids meet the R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. Columbia River will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Lumberjacks enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA).
The Beavers (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA). The Spudders enter the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Ridgefield overcame Mark Morris (Longview, WA), 13-0, in a non-league challenge.
