In Monday's league test, the Contreras Cobras (Los Angeles, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats (Los Angeles, CA), by a tally of 15-6.

Next, the Cobras meet the Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) in a test, on Thursday, May 1. Contreras will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record.

The Bobcats (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Bernstein (Hollywood, CA). The Dragons go into the test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Bernstein was routed by Roybal (Los Angeles, CA), 14-13, in a league test.
