Virginia High School Softball - Halifax County bounces Tunstall

April 28, 2025: South Boston, VA 24592

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) and the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), observed Halifax County's softball team prevail over Tunstall by a tally of 16-1.

The Comets (17-0) will now prepare for their bout against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Magna Vista was routed by Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 28-10, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 30. Tunstall will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 18-2 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
