North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Croatan Ashley

The Croatan Cougars lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Ashley Screaming Eagle to 12 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now hold a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Swansboro for a Coastal challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Croatan will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Pirates record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Ashley falls to 6-11 on the year. The Screaming eagle host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a Mideastern challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 2-12. West Brunswick lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
