Fans at Monday's non-league test between the Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ) and the visiting Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ), witnessed Toms River North's lacrosse squad hold off Central Regional by a count of 3-2.

The Mariners (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers enter the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Neptune nipped Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ), 9-5, in a league test.

Next, the Golden Eagles battle the St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 30. Central Regional will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
