The Oxford Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Lapeer Lightning to 4 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host University of Detroit Jesuit for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Oxford will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Cubs record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Lapeer falls to 3-9 on the year. The Lightning travel to Bay City Western (Auburn, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Bay City Western won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenn (Bay City, MI)
