Fans at Monday's league contest between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), witnessed Marvin Ridge's lacrosse squad top Parkwood by a score of 19-3.

The Mavericks (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Cuthbertson beat Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 17-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Wolf Pack meet the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 29. Parkwood will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 3-10 record after their 16-2 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
