In Monday's league contest, the host Pigeon Forge Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-4 triumph over the Sevier County Smoky Bears.
The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Science Hill was nipped by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 23-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Smoky Bears meet the Maryville Red Rebels (Maryville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 29. Sevier County will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Red Rebels go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 9-3 league loss to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN).
