North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Pinecrest overwhelms Union Pines

April 28, 2025: Cameron, NC 28326

In Monday's league contest, the visiting Pinecrest Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-5 triumph over the Union Pines Vikings.

The Patriots (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears go into the United 8/All American/Sandhills contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Gray's Creek was overwhelmed by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 16-8, in a league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 30. Union Pines will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 12-3 league win over Williams (Burlington, NC).
