In Monday's league contest, the host Signal Mountain Eagles lacrosse squad scored a good 23-2 triumph over the Walker Valley Mustangs.

The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Trojans go into the 1A Region 2 D1 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Soddy Daisy knocked off Gibbs (Corryton, TN), 17-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 30. Walker Valley will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 20-1 non-league loss to Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN).
