In Monday's league outing, the host Auburn Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Fort Chiswell Pioneers.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Mountain Empire outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Grayson County got by Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Pioneers confront the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a Mountain Empire outing, on Wednesday, April 30. Fort Chiswell will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 3-7 record after their 8-0 league loss to Galax (Galax, VA).
