The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Marion Scarlet Hurricanes to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now hold a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Narrows for a Pioneer bout on Thursday, May 1. Eastern Montgomery will play a Green Waves squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Marion moves to 4-6 on the year. The Scarlet hurricanes host Richlands (Richlands, VA) to play the Blue Tornado in a Southwest bout on Tuesday, April 29.
