With the triumph, Prince Edward County advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to clash with the Governors in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Governors come into the test with a record of 5-0. Nelson County won 8-0 in their recent league test against Chatham (Chatham, VA)

The Cougars now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Amelia County for a James River test on Tuesday, April 29. Nottoway will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
