In Monday's non-league test, the Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Angola Hornets (Angola, IN), by a final score of 13-6.

The Blazers now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Noble for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. Eastside will confront a Cougars team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over West Noble (Ligonier, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Angola moves to 2-8 on the season. The Hornets host Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN) to confront the Panthers in a Northeast Corner battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 3-8. Prairie Heights lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Churubusco (Churubusco, IN)
