The Eureka Loggers softball squad (Eureka, CA), was routed 4-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Arcata Tigers (Arcata, CA)

With the triumph, Arcata improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fortuna (Fortuna, CA) to face the Huskies in a Big 5 contest on Saturday, May 3. The Huskies enter the contest with a record of 16-3. Fortuna lost 9-8 in their recent league contest against Del Norte (Crescent City, CA)

The Loggers now hold a 0-16 record. They play next when they travel to McKinleyville for a Big 5 contest on Wednesday, April 30. Eureka will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to Fortuna (Fortuna, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-10.
