In Monday's league test, the Belpre Golden Eagles (Belpre, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH), by a count of 16-6.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Hocking test, on Tuesday, April 29. Belpre will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tornadoes go into the test with a 13-3 record after their 21-4 non-league loss to Wahama (Mason, WV).
The Lancers (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Trimble (Glouster, OH). The Tomcats go into the Tri-Valley - Hocking test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Trimble was routed by Eastern (Reedsville, OH), 18-0, in a league test.
