South Carolina High School Softball - Berkeley edges Cane Bay

In Monday's league match, the host Berkeley Stags softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Cane Bay Cobras.
The Stags (20-2) will now prepare for their match against Stratford (Goose Creek, SC). The Knights come into the AAAAA Region 7 match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Stratford nipped Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC), 10-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cobras confront the Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a AAAAA Region 7 match, on Wednesday, April 30. Cane Bay will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Bengals come into the match with a 11-9 record after their 4-3 league win over Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
