The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI) and the visiting St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), observed Breckenridge's softball team get by St. Charles by a tally of 13-9.

The Huskies (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets go into the Mid-State bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Coleman was routed by Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI), 12-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Friday, May 2. St. Charles will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI).
